Five Happy Things

Aside from a few downpours the weather here is still quite warm, yet slightly crisp and the leaves are just beginning to turn. You can really feel Autumn in the air and now that I have come to terms with the end of summer I am looking forward to this cosy and colourful season. 

These are my favourite things which have made me happy this week…

Wednesday was very exciting as I met up with a darling blogger friend Joann who writes The Girl Gets Real blog. Joann and her husband Rod are from Colorado, but are currently on a European adventure visiting England, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We met in Winchester and had a lovely dinner chatting away about anything and everything. It was a truly wonderful evening and I am so happy to have met sweet Joann and Rod in person.

Joann and I exchanged some gifts and I am thrilled with everything she gave to me, she is so thoughtful. Halloween Oreos which we do not have here in England were amongst the treats

I actually asked for these Red Hots as I would like to decorate Red Velvet cakes with them, just like they do at Baked

I also asked for a Marvy Uchida Le Pen in any colour as I have heard many wonderful things about them. However Joann surprised with a entire pack! Thank you so much for your generosity Joann x
