A few days ago, we visited one of favourite local beaches that also happens to be dog friendly. You know we always like to include Poppy on our little outings!
Thankfully it was very quiet, so we could keep our distance and still have fun.
Poppy definitely agrees that beach days are the best days!
A visit to the beach is simply not complete without a bucket and a spade.
If you continue to walk in this direction along you beach, you would shortly arrive at the bottom of some wooden steps (and a zig-zag slope) that lead up to Highcliffe Castle. It was built in the 1830’s and has had many illustrious visitors and residents over the years, including Henry Gordon Selfridge, who rented it from 1916-1922.
Burying feet in the sand is a rite of passage!
Aren’t these pastel beach huts so pretty?
