We are now a few weeks into summer and I am so happy, I absolutely adore this season! I wake up every morning with a heart full of joy and excitement for what adventures the day will bring.
In order to make the most of every glorious moment this summer has to offer, I have made a list of fun things to do, so I can thoroughly enjoy the long balmy days ahead!
Watch a sunrise at Hengistbury Head
Pick berries at a PYO farm
Make Frutti di bosco gelato with the berries from the PYO
Play mini golf
Make S’mores
Attend an outdoor concert
Compose a summer reading list
Take a spinning class
Finish planting the large bed in the garden
Watch a sunset at Sandbanks
What is on your list of fun things to do this summer?
Oh that sounds like quite a fun list. I do go to outdoor concerts locally in the summer and just the other day was wondering if they'd begun. My summer list isn't as fun as yours tho. I want to try to lower my blood pressure (!). Have been busy working for months so want to take August off. Was thinking of going to Catalina Island for my birthday, not far tho I've never been. Go out on a boat. Sew some more slacks. Fix up Matt, the dad of my local dog crush with my neighbor Deanna and have it be kismet. Lose weight (see blood pressure). Have my newly re-married former son-in-law over for dinner with his new wife. Take down and dust all my DVDs (may not happen). Send the dining chairs out for new springs. Get a new dental crown. Sheesh Morwenna what were you thinking asking that question. My to-do list clearly isn't about fun and sorbet. But I'm glad yours is and that you're having fun in the surf. ♥
I want to have a picnic, go fishing, go to the beach with my daughters, attend an outdoor concert with Rod, get my mom's garden finished, help Cadie with her garden, find a 'forever' place to live, eat a lot of peaches grown right here in Colorado, go to the Farmer's Market more than once, finish my website. Whew!
I love summer, too! Your bucket list is lovely! The number one thing on my list is to go camping this summer. We've been talking about it for a couple years now, and for some reason or another, we haven't done it yet. We must make it a priority! Hope you get to do all the things on your list! I think your list sounds fantastic and fun filled (perhaps excluding the crown!) and you have lots planned. Yay for taking august off Nancy, you certainly deserve it! I am sure the holiday alone will be enough to lower your blood pressure and everything else will fall into place 🙂 Catalina Island looks beautiful and perfect for celebrating your birthday!
