We live on the coast and even though we see it daily, we are perpetually drawn to it, no matter where we go. Yesterday was no exception, as we drove to Studland Bay to visit Knoll Beach.
Studland Bay is a beautiful are a of natural coastline with over four miles of golden sand. There is also rugged heathland directly behind the beach
We started with a cosy little lunch at the cafe where we warmed up next to the log burner.
It was bitterly cold, but we were well wrapped up, so off we went for a lovely walk along the beach!
Poppy absolutely adores being at the beach, it really is one of happy places. Here she is hunting for little crabs and any other little delights she could find.
It is quite apparent that these two sweeties were rather happy to be at the beach too!
Even in the cold and mizzle, my sweet loves are as adorable as can be!
Poppy found the perfect driftwood stick for throwing and chasing along the beach.
Naturally we had to throw it all the way back to the car!
We had such a lovely time and we cannot wait to visit again in the spring, when hopefully the weather will be a little kinder to us!
