Before autumn officially arrived on Saturday we went to a local beach to enjoy one of the last glorious days of summer
Poppy absoloutely adores long grass
She loves to sniff it
And she loves to run through it!
Poppy also loves running back and forth between mama and papa on the soft golden sand
Autumn has well and truly arrived with a deluge of rain and wind blowing petals and leaves all over the garden. We have enjoyed some lovely moments in the last of the summer sun. Now we are going to embrace the new season and all of the cosy happiness it brings.

You know how we all cling to each last moment of summer…. the sun kissing our shoulders, the warm breezes in our hair. How lovely that you all got to go to the beach and allow Poppy that time as well….

Oh how sweet! We had 2 Blenheims and 1 tricolor, from England and Northern Ireland. They have since passed away, but never a day goes buy without tender memories of Rosie, Ginger and Meg! We miss their gentle natures and very game little personalities. Tears are coming so I shall close and again look at your lovely Miss Poppy! Thanks for sharing her with us all.
