It has been a beautiful week for the summer weather here in Hampshire. Every day has been at least 25°C/77°F and reaching highs of 28°C/82°F which is amazing for this time of year.
We have been very productive with new projects in the house and garden and our plans are beginning to take shape. Our free time is going to be very limited during the next few weeks, but hopefully we will be able to finish some of these projects soon so I can tell you all about them.
These are my favourite things which have made me happy this week…
Watching these beautiful swans enjoying a low tide at the beach
Buying this lovely Cath Kidston bag to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
Reading Cherry Menlove’s first EBook Easy Jubilee on my iPad and loving every single beautiful page
Finding this sweet Hello Kitty and Liberty Art Fabrics memo block at TK Maxx
Last nights beautiful sunset
What has made you happy this week?

Morwenna, your pictures are an excellent choice to show what has brought you happiness.
For me, this week I was happy:
1) hearing a talented vocalist from our church perform at a special program honoring us "senior"
2) being able to see the daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren for a short time; they live two hours away and came to town for a special program honoring someone who is retiring
3) giving the grandchildren a "Happy Summer Vacation" gift, and seeing them react with pleasure as they discovered the several things that were in the bag
4) performing with the Senior Chorus at a nearby retirement community
5) visiting our oldest daughter, three hours away, and attending a Renaissance Fair, as well as visiting a winery!
Have a wonderful week, and I will be waiting to see the completion of those projects.
xoxo

Ahh love your happy things. I've never seen that many swans together. Or in the ocean. That is the ocean? Where do they go? I always thought they lived in ponds. Actually at one of the very luxe hotels here, there's a garden with a stream and people marry out there (I wanted dtr's wedding there but it was thousands too much) and they have swans. I esp love the tote–I have the one you gave me right here hanging in the hallway and whenever I need to tote something I use it and think of you. Hope you have a mulitple-happy-things week. ♥

Your "happy" posts always make ME happy! I especially love the photo of the swans. There's something about swans…they're so beautiful and graceful! I agree with Nancy; I've never seen so many swans all together in one place. Wow! Of course, I love the CK bag too! Are you doing anything special to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee? I wish I were in England to celebrate with you all. I'll be thinking of you and Rachel this weekend. I hope the weather continues to please for the weekend celebrations. Enjoy!!

What makes me happy?
1. Graduation festivities all went beautifully and now Amanda has ordered her first doctor's coat with her name embroidered upon it. She will be seeing patients starting next Wednesday and will work throughout the summer before moving to CA for her PhD at UC Davis
2. Our celebratory cruise was amazing—we got there and back safely; everyone had a wonderful time, and our sunburns are healing up nicely! LOL
3. Rod is beginning to feel a little better; his kidney stone is still present but the infection in the kidneys has cleared and so he 'feels' better for now
4. My mom's visit was wonderful and they got home safely as well—
5. I'm just so so happy for summer approaching and warm weather and flowers and trees and GREEN!
