This week we have been on holiday, nowhere fancy just a stay-cation with fun day trips, but it has been perfect in every way. Spending time together having fun with lots of long walks, shopping, watching movies and eating way too much!
These are my favourite things which have made me happy this week…
Celebrating our third wedding anniversary on Wednesday was truly wonderful. We reminisced about the big day and we spoiled each other with lovely gifts. Here is to another beautiful year of being married to my best friend.
In between being outside enjoying the sporadic sunshine we managed to catch up with our overflowing Sky + box. We often let an entire season stack up then watch a few episodes at a time, so we have quite a few shows to choose from. We picked Nashville and have watched almost the entire season! We are completely hooked and cannot wait for the next episode!
Do you watch Nashville?

My favourite rose bloomed for the first time this year and I am smitten with its oh so pretty blousy petals and dreamy fragrance. After watering the rose bush the petals looked as though they were adorned with jewels and I couldn’t resist them
Neither could my adorable Sylvester. He saw me in the garden, so he came out for cuddles and then drank from the rose petals and leaves!
This Crystal Fighters song has been our holiday anthem for the week, we just cannot get enough of its happy summer vibe. The video doesn’t do the song justice, so just play, dance and enjoy!
What has made you happy this week?

Oh happy anniversary–so amazing to think it's already been 3 years. They go by faster and faster. I couldn't tell what that white blur was over the flowers until I looked down–I thought it was some divebombing bird! My Mickey used to love to sniff flowers unlike these maniacs who eat them. I did watch all of Nashville and enjoyed it tho I thought the music toward the end wasn't as good as at the beginning. Not a country music fan at all but the bluesy vibe I did like. I'd never seen the star before–she's quite the goddess–just like YOU. Glad you had a nice weeklong anniversary.

Happy Anniversary, gosh time has flown hasn't it?!
Glorious flowers. Here in East Anglia, I've yet to see my roses bloom (oh, wait, I picked a gorgeous yellow one yesterday, so not quite true), it has been too chilly, and too windy for the flowers to show their faces. But soon. And I can't wait!
xx
