On Saturday my darling sister Brooke and I went to the Country Living Spring fair in Islington, London and we had an absolutely fabulous time. We wandered around the light and airy Business Design Centre at a snails pace admiring the beauty and craftsmanship of the delights on offer.
I had to have one of these sweet little velvet strawberries from Chloe Antiques & Interiors
These beautiful dried flower wreaths were ever so tempting, but I feared they would be crushed to smithereens in the hustle and bustle
The sweet chicken, chicks and Dachsund have all been lovingly needle felted by the talented Lisa
Pretty pastels
Charming silver jewellery cast from foraged treasures found on the beach made by Fay Page in the Scilly Isles
Lovely bee lampshade by L&S Interiors and vintage textiles by Chloe Antiques & Interiors
Terrier themed kitchen essentials and luxurious wool picnic blankets at the Plum & Ashby stand
Handmade wooden treasures
I am now regretting not buying a few of these beautiful bunches of lavender and wheat…hopefully there will be some more next time!

Ohhhh!!! What a pleasure to see all that. I love shows like that so much. Was your velvet strawberry a needle holder? Everything was just so lovely. Our best local crafts show happens twice a year, but instead of being very close to me has moved all the way to Pasadena. I trekked there last time but it didn't feel the same. Not sure I'll go this summer. But wow will I miss it. Handmade things are just so wonderful. Glad you and Brooke had such a nice outing.

Thank you so much Nancy, we had an amazing time! Yes the little strawberry is a pin cushion, but I may have to use it as a sweet little decoration in my office 🙂 I hope you are able to visit a craft fair soon, perhaps you can go with a friend and share the fun?!
