Last week my mother-in-law Jacqueline and I hopped on a train to London to go to the Chelsea Flower Show. We have been once before, but it was eight years ago, so we were very excited and thankfully it didn’t disappoint!
I am glad I made a note of the company selling these lanterns, aren’t they adorable?
Jacqueline had her eye on a beautiful summerhouse, but I was rather smitten with the interior decor and accessories
You could definitely tell that Radiant orchid is the Pantone colour of the year, as there were masses of purple flowers everywhere
I am sure you can already tell, but the rose showcase in the Great Pavilion was our favourite! The roses were so very pretty, their fragrance was enchanting and they were absolutely irresistible
We had a wonderful day looking at all the beautiful show gardens and flowers and we cannot wait for next years show!

Ohhhh!!! I'm just gasping with pleasure at all your beautiful photos. How fun to see it all. I remember when you went the last time. That's how long we've known each other!!!

Thank you Nancy and I commend you for making it all the way to the end of the post! Gosh that is amazing, and what a pleasure it has been these past few years 🙂

I had to stumble back to the flower show….there is something just so special about an English garden….I was well on my way to having just that at the log home, but sadly, we have it no more. Here, at this rental home, I don't want to invest in the yard so much, so most of my plantings are done in pots. Now, I have quite a lot of pots, but they still bring great joy…..this show is magnificent!!!! I long for a garden of my own once again………..

Thank you Joann! It is such a shame about your log home, but I am sure your dream home is just around the corner 🙂 I think pots are a wonderful idea and you can plant them in your new home one day x
