We have had the week off work and it has been glorious! We had the grand plan of redecorating most of the house, but in reality it didn’t quite work out. I have had bakery orders and a few appointments, so the days seemed to fade away as they often do when you are on holiday. There is still a lot of work to be done on the house, but we have made a good start and we are looking forward to dedicating more time to the project.
These are my favourite things which have made me happy this week…
This slow braised Dorset rose veal shoulder and onion risotto with rocket pesto and truffle oil is the best meal I have had this year
Poppy’s 3rd Birthday
Enchanting snowdrops
Fashion and style will always be one of my greatest passions, so checking out the latest news from New York Fashion Week is a must
Celebrating our 13th anniversary and enjoying one of the gifts from my sweetheart

Oh gosh I think I will coopt your happy things because each one made me happy to imagine and smile to see. It's only Monday so the week is only hours old. So far I'm happy to have managed to sleep after fleabusting all weekend. See I have fleas and you have perfume and risotto. Give Poppy a hug for me and tell her she is aging beautiful, three year old toddler.

How wonderful it must have been for you and Nathan to spend the entire week of holidays at home together! I love the photo you posted of the snowdrops! They are definitely enchanting and such a pretty sight to see in the midst of winter!
One of my favourite things about this past week was spending the SNOW DAY with Nuno and the girls at home. It was a cozy weekend for sure! Happy Pancake Tuesday, dear Morwenna! xoxo
