This pretty sunflower is a very happy accident. It spontaneously grew from the home-made compost that we filled our flower bed with!

Earlier this year we became hooked to one of the best shows ever and watched the first two seasons of Breaking Bad in a few weeks. With the knowledge that the show will soon be over and not wanting to be left behind, we finally got our act together and watched season three this week. We begin season four tonight and we cannot wait!
My favourite Essie polishes for spring/summer have been in rotation this week. The pretty coral pink Cute As A Button has been gracing my toes. My fingers started the week with the blue Bikini So Teeny and ended the week with the Mint Candy Apple.
Dear Morwenna…so glad you're on the road to recovery! Poppy is a doll, & I love the other pictures too…so beautiful! Alice always makes me happy too, of course! Our garden is filled with butterflies right now…Little House on the Prairie is on this afternoon, handily just as I get back from deliveries(!)…& my beloved has planned a surprise trip for me, coming up soon. Happy things for this week here: No rain for the golf tournament where my husband played on Monday; good times with friends playing bridge in the afternoon – pretty decent cards coming my way; first rehearsal for the season for the women's chorus; corn from our garden for making cream-style corn for the freezer; and lunch out with friends one day! It has been a very good week!

Just yesterday, we went to the Toronto Zoo to see the new pandas that arrived in the spring! They will be on exhibit at our zoo for the next five years. It made me so happy to see them.
