This week I was only at work for one day, so I had the rest of the week off to relax and spend time with family and friends. Typically the days have flown by and I did not achieve everything I wanted to, but it doesn’t really matter as I have had a wonderful week.
These are my favourite things which have made me happy this week…
Spending some quality time with my beautiful sister Brooke last weekend
Feasting on the last of the seasons Greengages
Relaxing at the beach with the loves of my life
And indulging in a slice of delicious rhubarb Bakewell Tart
I have been lusting after a blue-green pumpkin for years so when Nathan managed to snap this one up from the pub I was chuffed!
What has made you happy this week?

Time with the loves of our lives is the most precious, isn't it? Your sister is adorable and being rather close to the beach is amazing!!! My goodness! We used to live in California, and I must say that being close to the beach was wonderful; that's why we go back every year…to sit in the same spot and just relax!
And a green pumpkin? I LOVE IT!! They have some here but they are rather pricey. I wanted to snap one up but settled on another pumpkin love….a Cinderella pumpkin!! Maybe you can grow some green ones in your garden for next year!
Your sister is beautiful………I can only imagine because seeing YOU in person, I know you are a thousand times more beautiful than your photographs. Rachel described your skin as 'peaches and cream' and it is!!
Love you lots!

Five happy things from the week: finding a cute Halloween shirt while shopping on Monday; not breaking my finger when I closed it in the car door on Tuesday (8 stitches); safe travels while taking a trip for the week-end; having time to spend with friends from college years at my college Homecoming; and having a good visit with my husband's 95-year old cousin.
