It is that unfortunate time of year when colds are rife, and in our house we have both been afflicted. Last week Nathan had one and this weekend I am the chosen one! My current companions are Day Nurse, tissues, soup, clementines, bee pollen and my ever faithful hot water, honey and lemon.
Do you have any other good remedies for colds?
As I try to muster enough energy to dash around the house with the Dyson, I am daydreaming about all of the lovely Donna Hay recipes that will influence our menu this week.
Hopefully some of these delicious dishes will help to bid these nasty germs farewell!

Ohh feel better Morwenna! If I have a sore throat, I gargle with peroxide and water–half and half–and then follow it with a warm salt water gargle. It kills those germs that don't like oxygen and hide in the back of the throat. Tastes terrible but works better than anything else. I hope you're 100% by tomorrow and can enjoy all those recipes. I've never really heard of Donna Hay but her books look nice! ♥
